Summary

Not our most memorable performance to date. The gods were definitely not smiling on us yesterday but it's very early days... ... the sign of a great team is how they recover.

The Games

Lori (SL3) lost 2 - 2 against a 2
A very good 2 but who can remember that shot. The previous green was awesome and with the match seemingly won the realization that the bar didn't have a bridge hit us hard. Next time I'm in the city I'm going to buy bridge attachments!

Mini (SL4) won 3 - 1 against a 4
A strange match against probably their best player. Marc seemed to be cruising in every rack only to throw his opponent a lifeline in each... ...fortunately his opponent only took one of them!. Anyway, we're not talking to Marc any more because he ruined our whitewash!

Mark (SL4) lost 1 - 2 against a 3
Feeling very bitter after watching a three handicap run 8 balls! Although Mark never really got going, his opponent did play a level above himself.

Sparky (SL4) lost 2 - 2 against a 3
Now Tracy is a reasonable player so I always thought this one would be tight but at 2-0 ahead and cruising it looked over... ...until that unfortunate scratch following the cut shot!

Mike (SL5) lost 3 - 2 against a 3
Again, seemingly cruising at 3-0 his opponent came from nowhere... ...still not actually sure what happened here!

Lori: Have to say, Lori's green solid in the final rack as the last ball on the table except the black has to be the shot of the night.

Worst Shot of The Night

Mini: Although he was the only winner, Marc still get's worst shot of the night for having ball in hand and playing a shot that resulted in his opponent having ball in hand - great entertainment!
